Mountain Adventures January Saturday 2021

Ski - Ages 5 to 6, any skill level 

Ski - Ages 7 to 15, any skill level

Snowboard - Ages 7 to 15, any skill level 


Whether they're new to snow sports or already exploring the whole mountain, kids and teens will improve through fun and adventure guided by one of our professional instructors. At Ski Sundown, we group children by similar age and skill level and limit class sizes. They'll learn new skills, make new friends, and explore the mountain for 2 ½ hours each week. Our varied terrain provides challenges, builds confidence, and is sure to create a love for a sport that will last a lifetime!

Choose L/L for Lift and Lesson.  PL for Passholder Lessons only if you have purchased a season pass.

Skill Level Information
You MUST provide Skill Level information for every child that participates in a lesson program so that we can place them in a group of children of similar ability.  Please go to My Account and under Skier/Snowboarder Profile enter a ski or snowboard skill level for each child (see below to determine skill level).  The information may already be on file.  Please make sure it is an honest and accurate assessment of their current abilities.  Thank you!                                                                                   

 Skill levels / Lesson content
First Time = New to the sport / Ready to learn the basics on equipment, turning, stopping and chair lift procedures
Novice = Riding the chair lift and can ski independently making wedge turns on beginner terrain / Ready to discover linking turns, changing the size, shape and rhythm of your turns, pole use, skating and introduction to parallel turns
Intermediate = Exploring intermediate terrain making small wedge or beginning parallel turns  / Ready to build more confidence by skiing many different turn shapes and sizes on more challenging terrain and in different conditions
Advanced = Making consistent parallel turns on advanced terrain / Ready to explore all  the mountain has to offer by learning the skills and tactics that it takes to ski steeper terrain, moguls and variable snow conditions

Intermediate = Exploring intermediate terrain using linked turns to control direction / Ready to learn speed control through turn shape and intro to carving and ground tricks
Advanced = Making carved turns on advanced terrain / Ready to discover advanced carving

Program Protection Policy (available only at time of program purchase)

Ski Sundown will reimburse the cost of your program on a prorated basis in the event of injury/sickness which prevents you from completing the program.   Injury or illness must be confirmed by letter from a licensed physician.  The cost for a Protection Policy is 6% of the purchase price of your program.  Refund requests must be received prior to end of season.  If you decline the Protection Policy and should be unable to complete the program for any reason, you will not be entitled to a refund.

Program Refund Policy
A full refund less a $25 administrative fee will be given if request is made in writing and received prior to the program Registration Deadline.  No refund will be given after the program Registration Deadline for any reason unless the Program Protection Policy has been purchased.  All requests for refunds must be received by the Welcome Center prior to the end of the season.
